I often get asked what is the best piece of exercise
equipment on the market that will meet my fitness and weightloss
needs? Well, that really is the millionaire dollar question
and is open for debate but I argue the kettlebell
leads the way at present. Used by the Russian military and Russian
athletes during their fitness preparations, the use of
the kettlebell can be dated back to as late as 1704 and is not much
to look at, resembling a cannonball with a handle. But
why use such an old piece of equipment, surely we have something
better nowadays? Well no...not in my opinion. Let me
explain. Kettlebells are great because they are difficult to
balance, use a lot of energy and use multiple muscle groups
once exercising, therefore they use a lot of energy in a relatively
small amount of time.

As previously mentioned Kettlebells come in various
weights ranging from as small as 2kg all the way up to 40kg that
means they cater for both men and women of varying of fitness
abilities. Unlike Dumbbells they do not come in a pair which
makes them easy to store and because of their versatility they
provide interesting and invigorating workouts whether you want to
lose weight, tone up, put on muscle, or improve your sport
performances or fitness levels.

Kettlebells have really come back into fashion over the
past couple of years and I think this is positive because the more
people that become aware of them the more exciting and effective
their exercise routines will become. Want to learn more? To
book a complimentary, no obligation taster session feel free
to contact me on 07769656915 or alternatively leave a comment at
the bottom of the blog screen and I will respond
ASAP.
