As a 38 year old mother of two who has not entered a gym for at least 15 years the thought of a personal trainer was extremely daunting but necessary if I was to ever exercise again.  Thankfully Ben has alleviated all of those worries and has successfully managed to make a daunting experience relaxed and happy.

From the beginning he has listened to what I hoped to gain from the sessions and set achievable goals without making it intimidating or embarrassing.  More importantly he has managed to make me enjoy going to the gym which I never thought would be possible.

I joined Mifit when it first opened in September 2008.  Initially I was terrified, therefore when I donned my new gym clothes for my complimentary session - cue Ben!  I remember him asking what I feared the most (everything!), my previous gym experiences (nothing!), and my long term objectives (lose weight and tone up all over!). 

What struck me about Ben was (even from my initial session) - he takes a genuine interest in people and has great 'people skills'.  He certainly put me at ease and helped me to overcome my initial fears.  It is reassuring to know he has the expertise to know how much I can be pushed and motivated (which is far more than I push myself!)

Thanks to Ben the gym has become a prominent part of my life and in seven months I have lost weight, toned up and my body shape has changed.  To sum up Ben in four words - PROFESSIONAL, MOTIVATIONAL, INSPIRATIONAL and CARING!

Our Personal Trainer has been successfully improving our fitness and wellbeing gradually over the last 6 months.  When we joined "JJB-MiFit" we were determined to do it right and took immediate advice from the start.  By advising Ben of our needs and requirements he has put into place a variety of Fitness and Stretch procedures which have given us both a new lease of life.  He is continually monitoring our progress.

We now exercise at the gym 3 to 4 times weekly, which includes a regular 1.2.1 with our Personal Trainer, Ben.  We both feel and act as if we were 15 years younger.  We attribute much of our fitness, energy levels and health improvement to our Personal Trainer, who certainly, without doubt, keeps us focused and motivated.  Money well spent!!

I have always kept myself fairly fit, playing sport or hitting the gym at least 3 times a week. When I started picking up regular injuries playing football I thought I was going to have to stop playing but a friend persuaded me to try a few sessions with Ben..

I have to say I was initially sceptical as to the benefit of a personal trainer- I'm a surgeon and assumed my knowledge of anatomy and physiology was good enough to allow me to train myself well enough. However I have been proven wrong! From the first session on Ben has been brilliant. He very quickly worked out why I was picking up all the injuries and devised a program to correct the problem.

No two sessions are the same and the results have been amazing- I'm fitter and stronger now than 10 years ago and back playing football with no problems. I can heartily recommend Ben and will certainly be continuing to use his skills and abilities to keep myself in shape.
